This is the most important Rana palaces as it is still used for the office of the prime minister of Nepal. Built by then prime minister Chandra Shamsher Jung Bahadur Rana. It is an example of the western influence in the architecture in Nepal. The Ranas were great fan of the English people and copy their style be it in architecture or in the custom.
